S'more Browines recipe image

These S’More Browines combine the best of two worlds: the deep, chocolatey richness of a brownie and the nostalgic, gooey sweetness of a classic s’more. The batter is dense and moist, thanks to a blend of cocoa powder, brown sugar, and vegetable oil, while folded-in mini-marshmallows create pockets of melted creaminess. Topped with crunchy graham cracker pieces and more marshmallows, the top layer toasts to a golden brown during baking, providing a delightful textural contrast to the soft interior. They are perfect for summer parties, camping trips, or any time you crave an indulgent, shareable dessert. Serve them warm for maximum marshmallow ooziness or cool completely for cleaner cuts.

These S'More Browines combine the best of two worlds: the deep, chocolatey richness of a brownie and the nostalgic, gooey sweetness of a classic s'more. Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350&# 194;°F (175ðC).
  2. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil, allowing the ends to extend over two opposite sides of the pan for easy removal.
  3. Spray the foil-lined pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, brown sugar, granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, and baking powder until no lumps remain.
  5. Add the egg whites, whole egg, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until the batter is smooth and well combined.
  6. Gently fold in half of the mini-marshmallows and half of the broken graham crackers.
  7. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes.
  9. Remove pan from oven. Sprinkle the remaining marshmallows and graham cracker pieces over the top, pressing them down gently so they partially sink into the batter.
  10. Return to oven and bake for 18 to 20 minutes longer, or until the marshmallows on top are golden brown and the edges are set.
  11. Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
  12. Lift the brownies out of the pan using the foil handles.
  13. Peel away the foil and cut into squares.

Note

Storage: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Substitutions: You can use dark brown sugar for a deeper molasses flavor. If you don't have graham crackers, vanilla wafers or digestive biscuits work well as a substitute.

Tip: For extra gooeyness, serve warm. Be careful when cutting hot browines as the marshmallows will be very sticky.
