Directions
-
Cut each avocado in half, remove the pit, and peel the skin. Slice each half into four even wedges, yielding 8 slices per avocado.
-
Take one slice of prosciutto and one slice of smoked salmon. Lay them flat on a cutting board.
-
Place an avocado wedge at one end of the meat slice. Gently roll or fold the meat diagonally around the avocado to create a neat wrap.
-
Repeat this process with the remaining avocado slices and meat, alternating between prosciutto and salmon for variety.
-
Arrange the wraps on a serving platter. Garnish with fresh lemon or lime wedges and serve immediately.
Note
To prevent the avocados from browning, squeeze a little lemon or lime juice over the slices immediately after cutting.
You can use either prosciutto or salmon for all wraps, or mix and match for a diverse platter.
These wraps are best served fresh but can be assembled up to 30 minutes in advance. Cover loosely with plastic wrap.
