Softened 1 ts Baking soda 1/4 c Orange juice 1 ts Salt 1/2 c Corn syrup, dark 1/2 ts Ground cloves 1/2 c Dark molasses 1/2 ts Ground allspice 4 1/2 c All-purpose flour 1/2 ts Ground nutmeg In mixing bowl,

cream sugar and butter.

Blend in orange juice, corn syrup and molasses.

Combine flours, ginger , baking soda, salt, cloves, nutmeg and allspice.

Add to creamed mixture; mix well.

Chill 4 hours.

Roll a portion of the dough on a lightly floured surface to 1/4" thick.

Cut into desired shapes.

Place 2" apart on greased baking sheets.

Repeat with remainig dough.

Bake at 350 deg for 12-15 minutes.

Cookies will be chewy baked 12 minutes or crunchy baked 15 minutes
