  1. Preheat the oven to 450&# 194;°F (230ðC).
  2. Place a 6-cup popover pan in the oven to preheat for 5 minutes.
  3. In a medium bowl, sift together the flour and salt.
  4. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.
  5. Pour the egg and milk mixture into the flour mixture and stir until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
  6. Carefully remove the hot popover pan from the oven.
  7. Brush the inside of each popover cup with melted butter.
  8. Fill each cup halfway with the batter.
  9. Bake at 450ðF (232ðC) for 20 minutes.
  10. Reduce the oven temperature to 375ðF (190ðC) and continue baking for another 20 minutes, or until the popovers are golden brown and crisp.
  11. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
