Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375ðF (190ðC) and lightly grease a 10-inch quiche or pie pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti, 1 teaspoon of cooking oil, and 2 beaten eggs until well mixed.
  3. Press the pasta mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of the prepared pie pan to form a crust.
  4. Cover the edges of the pasta crust with a strip of greased foil to prevent burning during the initial bake.
  5. Bake the crust for 7 to 10 minutes, or until it is set and slightly firm to the touch.
  6. While the crust bakes, cook the frozen spinach according to package directions, then drain very well to remove excess moisture.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the drained spinach with thinly sliced green onions, snipped parsley, and basil.
  8. In a separate large bowl, beat together the ricotta cheese, 4 eggs, and milk (or half & half) until smooth.
  9. Stir in 1/2 cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese into the ricotta mixture.
  10. Fold the spinach vegetable mixture, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese into the cheese mixture.
  11. Spoon the filling evenly into the pre-baked pasta shell.
  12. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the filling.
  13. Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
  14. Allow the pie to stand for 10 minutes before slicing and serving to let the filling firm up.
