Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, softened butter, and chopped pecans until the mixture is finely crumbled.
  3. Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking pan to form an even crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 15 to 20 minutes until lightly golden.
  5. Remove from oven and let the crust cool completely.
  6. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  7. Gently fold in half of the Cool Whip into the cream cheese mixture.
  8. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled crust.
  9. In a separate bowl, mix the 7 ounces of instant chocolate pudding mix with 1 1/2 cups of milk.
  10. Let the chocolate pudding stand for 5 minutes to thicken, then spread it evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  11. In another bowl, mix the 7 ounces of instant vanilla pudding mix with 1 1/2 cups of milk.
  12. Let the vanilla pudding stand for 5 minutes to thicken.
  13. Gently fold the sliced fresh strawberries into the thickened vanilla pudding.
  14. Spread the strawberry-vanilla pudding mixture evenly over the chocolate pudding layer.
  15. Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the top of the dessert.
  16. Using a vegetable peeler, shave the chocolate candy bar over the top of the dessert for garnish.
  17. Cover the pan and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
