  1. Bone and skin chicken and cut into 1" squares.
  2. In a food processor,
  3. combine onions, thyme, sugar, pepper, salt, nutmeg and allspice and
  4. blend to
  5. form a paste.
  6. Transfer to a shallow dish.
  7. Place chicken in the marinade and turn to coat.
  8. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours, turning occasionally.
  9. In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium high heat.
  10. Add the chicken and saute for 4-6 minutes or until done.
  11. Thread onto skewers and serve.
  12. Can also be skewered and then cooked on a grill
