Lamb With Honey & Almonds
Description
This hearty one-pot lamb stew combines tender boneless shoulder with the warm aromatics of saffron, cinnamon, and ginger. The honey adds a subtle sweetness that balances the savory meat, while plump raisins and crunchy whole almonds provide delightful texture contrasts. Garlic, onions, and carrots form a robust vegetable base, enriched by garbanzo beans for added heartiness. Slow-cooked in a covered pot, the flavors meld beautifully, resulting in a rich, aromatic dish that is perfect for family dinners or special gatherings. Serve over fluffy brown rice or bulgur to soak up the thickened, savory sauce. It is a comforting yet sophisticated meal that feels both homestyle and exotic.Ingredients

-
Place the covered dish in the preheated oven and cook for 90 minutes.
