Ingredients

1 package Oz. semisweet chocolate c
1/4 cup Butter or margarine (1/2 sti
1 can Sweetened condensed milk; no
2 cup Flour
1/2 cup Nuts, optional; finely chopp
1 teaspoon Vanilla
60 ea Milk chocolate candy kisses,
2 ounce White baking bar, or van. fl
1 teaspoon Solid veg. shortening, or oi

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a medium saucepan, combine semisweet chocolate chips and butter.

Cook and stir over very low heat until chips are melted and smooth.

Remove from heat and stir in sweetened condensed milk until well blended.

In a medium bowl, combine flour, chopped nuts, chocolate mixture, and vanilla; mix until a dough forms.

Take 1 tablespoon of dough and shape it around each milk chocolate kiss, covering it completely.

Place bon bons 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake in preheated oven for 6 to 8 minutes.

In a small saucepan, combine white baking bar and shortening.

The dough is buttery and should not stick to your hands. If it does, lightly dampen your hands or chill the dough for 10 minutes.
