Repeat the blending process with the remaining rice, water, milk, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
8 Pour the mixture through a cheesecloth or fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher, squeezing to extract all liquid.
9 Refrigerate until chilled, then serve over ice.

Note
For a stronger cinnamon flavor, add a cinnamon stick to the water while soaking the rice, or stir additional ground cinnamon into each glass before serving.
Horchata tastes best when served very cold. You can prepare it up to 24 hours in advance and keep it refrigerated. Stir well before serving as the rice solids may settle at the bottom.
If you prefer a thicker consistency, use less water when blending. For a dairy-free version, substitute the milk with almond milk or coconut milk.
Ensure you strain the mixture thoroughly to remove all rice grits for a smooth drinking experience. A nut milk bag works well if cheesecloth is not available.
