While the terrine sets, prepare the sauce. Combine the remaining orange juice, lime juice, and the remaining 1/4 cup powdered sugar in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture reduces by half and becomes thick. Allow to cool.
7 Stir the Grand Marnier into the cooled citrus sauce.
8 To serve, run a knife around the edges of the terrine and unmold onto a serving dish. Cut into slices. Drizzle each slice with the Grand Marnier citrus sauce. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and the reserved lime zest.
Note
This is a make-ahead dessert; the terrine can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours before serving.
Ensure the gelatin is fully dissolved in the hot liquid to prevent clumping.
For best results, use fresh citrus juices rather than bottled for a brighter, more vibrant flavor.
If you don't have a terrine mold, a loaf pan works perfectly well.
