Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop with a splash of water or stock to restore sauce consistency.
If fresh tarragon is unavailable, substitute with 1-2 teaspoons of dried tarragon, added at the beginning of the simmering process to allow flavors to rehydrate and meld.
