Ingredients
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 500 g Mascarpone cheese
- 3 eggs
- 250 g Savoiardi cookies
- 300-400 ml dark coffee (freshly brewed)
- 3-4 Tblsp sugar
- 50-100 ml Marsala wine (optional)
Directions
- 1 Separate the egg yolks from the whites. In a large bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, egg yolks, and sugar.

Whip the mixture using an electric mixer until it becomes homogeneous, thick, and creamy.- 3
Brew the dark coffee and let it cool slightly. If using Marsala wine, mix it into the coffee.- 4
Quickly dip each Savoiardi cookie into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are moist but not soggy.- 5
Arrange a layer of coffee-soaked cookies in the bottom of a serving dish or individual glasses.- 6
Spoon a generous layer of the mascarpone cream over the cookies.- 7
Repeat the layers of cookies and cream until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cream.- 8
Grate or crush the dark chocolate finely to create a dust.- 9
