Preheat the oven to 190°C.

Cut the bacon into pieces and cook in a large frying pan until lightly crisp.

Add the minced beef and cook until thoroughly browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.

Lightly grease a baking dish with the butter.

Spread the cooked beef and bacon evenly across the bottom of the baking dish.

Crack the eggs into a bowl, add a small pinch of salt and beat until combined.

Pour the beaten eggs evenly over the beef and bacon.

Grate the cheddar and scatter it evenly over the top.

Bake for approximately 20 minutes until the eggs are set and the cheese is melted and lightly golden.

Remove from the oven and rest for 5 minutes before cutting into four portions.
Note
This recipe works well for meal preparation and can be divided into individual portions after cooling.
For strict carnivore eating, choose bacon without added sugar where possible.
The cheddar can be reduced or omitted if dairy intake is being limited.
