Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450ðF (230ðC).
  2. Cut a sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil into a 12x16 inch rectangle.
  3. Place the sliced green pepper, tomato, and green onion on one half of the foil sheet.
  4. Sprinkle the vegetables with half of the basil, salt, and white pepper.
  5. Place the fish filet on top of the seasoned vegetables.
  6. Sprinkle the fish with the remaining basil, salt, and white pepper.
  7. Top the fish with the lemon slices.
  8. Fold the empty half of the foil over the fish and vegetables.
  9. Crimp the edges tightly, folding them over twice to create a sealed envelope that prevents steam from escaping.
  10. Place the foil packet on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, or until the packet puffs up and the fish is opaque and flakes easily.
  11. Carefully cut an "X" in the top of the hot packet and fold back the foil to release the steam before serving.
