Ingredients

Directions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor, rolling pin, or by crushing them in a sealed zip-top bag. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, prepare the two packages of chocolate instant pudding according to the package directions, using 3 1/2 cups of milk.
  3. Let the pudding stand for 5 minutes to thicken.
  4. Gently fold in 3 cups of the thawed Cool Whip into the thickened pudding.
  5. Stir in half of the crushed Oreo cookies into the pudding mixture.
  6. Spoon the pudding mixture into a 13x9 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly to create a flat surface.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining crushed Oreo cookies over the top of the pudding layer.
  8. Insert rectangular white cookies upright into the pudding to resemble tombstones.
  9. Pipe or dollop small swirls of the remaining Cool Whip onto the dish to create "ghosts."
  10. Use chocolate sprinkles to add eyes and details to the ghosts and other decorations.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set before serving.
