  1. Follow the recipe for ground seitan.
  2. Set the ground seitan aside while you saute the onions and garlic.
  3. Heat both kinds of oil together in a large skillet.
  4. Add the onion, garlic, and herbs.
  5. Saute until the onion is tender.
  6. Add the ground gluten and stir for a couple of minutes.
  7. Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the yeast.
  8. Slowly stir in the tamari and mix well.
  9. This mix will keep well in the refrigerator for at least one week.
  10. It may also be frozen for longer storage.
