  2. When the top is covered in foam, add the other ingredients & reduce heat to a simmer.
  3. Gently simmer, uncovered, on low heat.
  4. After about 45 minutes to 1 hour, when the surface becomes transparent & the milk solids are on the bottom,
  5. pour the liquid through a cheesecloth into a
  6. heat resistant container.
  7. Discard spices & solids.
  8. Cover tightly & store in the fridge.
  9. Will keep up to 2 months.
