Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (204&# 194;°C) Mix the oil, honey, vanilla, and egg in a medium size bowl.

Add the flour, salt, carob chips and pecans.

Place in a greased 8" x 8" cake pan

Bake for 15 minutes or until the top has just started to turn a golden brown.

Cut immediately into squares once you remove from oven.
