Preheat oven to 350F (175C). Grease and flour cake pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together: Flour;all purpose 1/2 ts -Salt, Brown sugar;packed 1/2 c -Cold water, Baking powder.

Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto wire rack to cool completely.
