Caramel Apple Phyllo Tart

Ingredients

  1. In large skillet, melt margarine over medium-high heat.
  2. Add apples and saute 15 minutes, until tender.
  3. Add raisins, brown sugar and cinnamon; stir well.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool.
  5. Preheat oven to 375F (191ðC).
  6. Coat an 11-inch tart pan with cooking spray.
  7. Gently press 1 sheet of phyllo into pan, allowing ends to extend over edges; lightly
  8. coat phyllo with cooking spray.
  9. Place another sheet of phyllo across first in a crisscross pattern; coat phyllo with cooking spray.
  10. Repeat procedure with remaining 4 phyllo sheets.
  11. Fold in phyllo to fit pan and form a rim.
  12. Bake about 15 minutes, until golden.
  13. Cool on wire rack.
  14. Sprinkle phyllo shell with confectioners' sugar.
  15. In small saucepan,
  16. combine milk and caramels;
  17. cook over medium
  18. heat until caramel melts, stirring constantly.
  19. Remove from heat.
  20. Spoon apple mixture into phyllo shell; drizzle caramel mixture over apples.
