  7. Seal the jar tightly and store it in a cool, dark place for 3 weeks, shaking gently every few days.
  8. After 3 weeks, strain the liqueur through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the solids.
  9. Filter again if necessary to ensure a clear liquid, then bottle and serve chilled or on the rocks.
