Ingredients

Directions

  1. ] Trim excess fat from chops & sprinkle with salt & pepper on both sides.
  2. ] In a large frying pan or skillet,
  3. add butter; saute onion & garlic until golden When finished,
  4. remove from pan &
  5. set aside.
  6. ] Add chops in same frying pan used for onions & garlic.
  7. Brown on all sides.
  8. ] When chops are browned, pour off fat and reduce heat.
  9. Add bay leaf, chicken stock, & onion/garlic mixture.
  10. Cook covered over low heat for about 1 hour.
  11. When done, transfer chops to plate and place in oven on very low temperature to keep warm.
  12. ] Reduce pan juices to half.
  13. Add sour cream & paprika.
  14. Blend thoroughly with pan juices.
  15. Heat thoroughly, but do not boil.
  16. ] Pour sauce over pork chops.
  17. Serve immediately.
