Description

Directions

  1. Cut cod into serving-size pieces.
  2. Soak cod and hardbread separately in cold water for 8 hours or overnight.
  3. Drain fish.
  4. In saucepan, cover fish with cold water.
  5. Heat to boiling and boil gently for 15 to 20 minutes or until tender; drain.
  6. Meanwhile, in skillet, fry salt pork until golden.
  7. Brain bread and place in saucepan, cover with salted water and bring to a full boil.
  8. Drain immediately and serve with fish on warm plates.
  9. Sprinkle with scrunchions.
