Ingredients

Directions

  1. Thaw the frozen bread dough according to the manufacturer's instructions until soft and pliable.
  2. Punch down the dough gently to release air, then divide it in half.
  3. Set one half of the dough aside, covered, to prevent drying out.
  4. Cut the remaining half of the dough into three equal pieces.
  5. Take one of the thirds and shape it into a round sphere for the head, resembling a light bulb shape.
  6. Using kitchen scissors or a small knife, cut out eyes, a nose, and a smiling mouth on the head.
  7. Place the head at the top end of a greased 17x11-inch rimmed baking sheet.
  8. Shape the second third of the dough into a long triangle or cone shape.
  9. Place the triangle point-down directly below the head to form the body and pelvis.
  10. Divide the third piece of dough into seven small, equal-sized pieces.
  11. Roll each small piece into a thin sausage shape to create ribs and limbs.
  12. Arrange three rib sausages horizontally on each side of the upper body.
  13. Use the remaining rib piece to form a neck connecting the head and body.
  14. Uncover the reserved half of the dough and divide it into two pieces.
  15. Shape these pieces into arms and legs, attaching them to the body to complete the skeleton.
  16. Bake according to the dough package instructions until golden brown and cooked through.
