This International dessert features Almond paste, Confectioner's sugar, Egg white; beaten lightly. It delivers sweet, indulgent flavor.   1. Blend the almond paste and sugar together.
  2. Add enough egg white to create the consistency of modeling clay.
  3. BANANA Color the marzipan light yellow and roll it into the banana shape.
  4. Dissolve cocoa in a little water and, with a small paint brush, streak the fruit with brown lines.
  5. APPLE Color the marzipan light green or green yellow.
  6. Shape into apple shape and make an impression on top with a chopstick.
  7. Finish the apple with a brown stem and a green leaf (made of marzipan) STRAWBERRY Color the marzipan red and
  8. shape it into a strawberry.
  9. Roll the berry in granulated sugar.
  10. Make the hull with green marzipan.
  11. Make a smooth ball of orange-colored marzipan; then press a piece of paper towel against the sides to create the texture of orange skin.
  12. Push a whole clove into the stem end of the orange.
  13. This recpie makes one full-sized fruit or eight miniatures.
  14. Using chopsticks or toothpicks help the modeling process.
  15. Paste food coloring is the best, though liquid works o.k
