Orange-Almond Cake
Description
This Orange-Almond Cake is a classic dessert that balances bright citrus notes with the rich, nutty flavor of almonds. The batter is light and tender, resulting in a moist crumb that holds up beautifully to the sweet syrup drizzle. The combination of fresh orange zest and orange-flavored liqueur creates an aromatic profile that is both comforting and elegant. It pairs perfectly with a cup of coffee or tea, making it an ideal treat for afternoon gatherings or as a finishing touch to a holiday dinner. The crunchy almond topping adds a delightful textural contrast to the soft cake, ensuring every bite is satisfying.Ingredients

If you prefer a non-alcoholic version, substitute the orange-flavored liqueur with additional orange juice or simple syrup. You can also use almond extract instead of orange liqueur for a stronger nut flavor.
For best results, use fresh orange zest. Ensure the cake is fully cooled before slicing to prevent crumbling.
