Pecan Fingers
Description
These Pecan Fingers are a classic treat that combines a buttery, tender shortbread base with a crunchy, caramelized topping. The dough comes together quickly using softened butter, dark brown sugar, and flour, creating a rich foundation. Brushed with egg wash and generously layered with more brown sugar and coarsely chopped pecans, the top bakes into a delightful crunch. The deep molasses flavor of the dark brown sugar pairs perfectly with the earthy nuts. Ideal for afternoon tea, potlucks, or as a simple homemade gift, these bars are sturdy enough to transport yet delicate enough to melt in your mouth. A comforting, nostalgic dessert that captures the essence of home baking.Ingredients
