Description

This International dessert features Butter (not margarine, Sugar, Eggs, Crushed pineapple, Of bread. It delivers smooth, comforting richness, sweet, indulgent flavor. A wonderful way to end any meal, especially on special occasions. Simple to make with ingredients you likely already have on hand, this is a recipe you will come back to again and again.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. crusts included
  2. Cream room-temp butter and sugar together--this can be done right in the casserole dish it will be baked in.
  3. Beat in eggs, one at at a time.
  4. Stir in the crushed pineapple (make sure you drain it very well).
  5. Fold in the cubed bread--I use white but I guess you can use whatever.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees F (177&# 194;°C) for about 45 minutes--the edges will turn golden brown and it will get all bubbly.
  7. Serve warm, as a sidedish with your meal.
  8. It could be used as a dessert, but we usually indulge with our main meal) You can
  9. cut down on the amount of butter if you want--I usually only use 3/4 of a stick.
  10. Leftovers heat up very well, too.
  11. Enjoy!
