  1. Preheat oven to 350F (175C). Grease and flour cake pan.
  2. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  3. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  4. Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  5. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto wire rack to cool completely.
