Directions

  1. Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add --or defatted chicken broth and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add salt & freshly ground black pepper -- to taste, garlic -- unpeeled, black peppercorns -- crushed and cook until tender.
  5. Return protein to skillet.
  6. Add dry white wine, --or defatted chicken broth, reduced-sodium chicken broth -- defatted and heat through.
  7. Season to taste and serve immediately.
