Description

This decadent Snickers Bar Cheesecake is the ultimate dessert for chocolate and caramel lovers. It features a sturdy chocolate wafer crust that holds together beautifully, paired with an impossibly smooth and creamy cheesecake filling. The real star is the generous amount of chopped Snickers bars folded into the batter and sprinkled on top, delivering bursts of salty peanuts, sweet caramel, and rich chocolate in every bite. The texture is luxurious and dense, yet light enough thanks to the whipped cream topping. This show-stopping dessert is perfect for birthday parties, holidays, or any special occasion where you want to impress your guests. It requires some chilling time, so plan ahead, but the result is a homemade treat that rivals any bakery creation.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  2. Place chocolate wafer cookies in a food processor and grind into fine crumbs.
  3. Add melted butter to the crumbs and process until well blended and moistened.
  4. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and about 1 inch up the sides of a 9-1/2 or 10-inch springform pan.
  5. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 1 to 2 minutes.
  6. Beat in eggs, one at a time, ensuring each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next.
  7. Beat in vanilla extract and 1 cup of heavy cream; beat for 3 to 4 minutes until smooth.
  8. Chop 1-1/2 cups of the Snickers bars into small pieces and fold them into the cheesecake batter.
  9. Pour the batter into the crumb-lined springform pan.
  10. Bake for 1 hour and 15 to 25 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center still jiggles slightly when shaken.
  11. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door slightly ajar for 1 hour to prevent cracking.
  12. Remove from oven and let cool completely to room temperature.
  13. Sprinkle the remaining chopped Snickers pieces evenly over the top of the cooled cheesecake.
  14. Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 to 5 hours, or preferably overnight, before serving.
  15. Just before serving, run a knife around the edge of the pan to loosen the cake and remove the springform ring.
  16. Whip the remaining 1 cup of heavy cream until stiff peaks form and spoon a dollop over each slice.
  17. Drizzle with chocolate fudge sauce if desired and serve immediately.
