Description

This German beverage features TVP chunks 1 ea Bay leaf, Ketchup 1/2 teaspoon Whole cloves, Hot water 1 tablespoon Cornstarch, Cider vinegar 2 tablespoon Soy sauce, Water 1/2 c Soy sour cream. It delivers smooth, comforting richness, sweet, indulgent flavor. A reliable recipe that works well for everyday cooking. Ingredients

Directions

  1. Combine TVP chunks, ketchup & water.
  2. Soak for 5 minutes.
  3. Add an additional cup of water & simmer on top of the stove for 20 minutes, till tender.
  4. Combine vinegar, 1/2 c water, honey, bay leaf & cloves in a pan.
  5. Bring to a boil & then add TVP.
  6. Remove from heat & let marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
  7. Remove TVP chunks & set aside.
  8. Drain marinade, remove cloves.
  9. Add cornstarch, soy sauce & sour cream to the marinade.
  10. Heat oil in a skillet.
  11. Add TVP chunks & cook till heated through.
  12. Stir in marinade & cook for a few minutes more.
  13. Serve over noodles.
