  2. Add noodles and cook for 8 minutes, or until barely tender, then drain.
  3. Trim and dice green onions, separating the whites from the greens.
  4. Mince ginger and garlic cloves.
  5. Cut broccoli head into small florets and peel stems, cutting them into strips about one-fourth inch by 3 inches.
  6. Heat a wok or wide skillet over high heat and add sausage.
  7. Cook sausage, breaking it up and stirring until browned.
  8. Pour off all but about 1 tablespoon of fat from the skillet.

  12. Stir over highest heat for about 3 minutes until broccoli is bright green and crisp-tender.
