  2. Add rice and salt, cover, and reduce heat to medium-low.
  3. Cook for one hour, checking occasionally to add more water if needed to prevent sticking.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  6. Divide the cooked rice, raisins, and cinnamon in half.
  7. Process the first half of the rice mixture thoroughly through a grain mill, juicer grinder attachment, or pound into a smooth paste using a wooden mortar and pestle.
  8. Repeat the pounding or grinding process with the remaining rice, raisins, and cinnamon.
