Preheat oven to 350F (175C). Grease and flour cake pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together: Unsweetened chocolate 1/4 ts Salt, 1 c Sifted all-purpose flour, Sugar 1 c Broken pecans or walnuts.

In another bowl, cream together: Butter or margarine 1 ts Vanilla.
