Store leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. The oils may solidify when cold; let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes and whisk again before use.
For a vegan version, substitute the honey with maple syrup or agave nectar.
This sauce works exceptionally well as a marinade for tofu or chicken. Let protein marinate for at least 15 minutes before cooking.
