Note
For a richer flavor, you can use kombu and katsuobushi to make your own dashi stock instead of using instant dashi granules.
If you prefer a thicker sauce, you can reduce the liquid further or add a small amount of cornstarch slurry (1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water) towards the end of cooking.
