  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and yeast.
  2. In a saucepan, heat buttermilk, butter, sugar and salt to 120-130 deg.; add to flour mixture.
  3. Blend on low speed until moistened.
  4. Add eggs; beat on low for 30 seconds.
  5. Beat on high for 3 minutes.
  6. Stir in enough whole wheat flour to make a soft dough.
  7. Turn onto a floured board; knead until smooth and elaslic, about 6-8 minutes.
  8. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top.
  9. Cover and let rise in a warm place until nearly doubled, about 1 hour.
  10. Punch dough down; divide in half.
  11. On a lightly floured board, roll each into a 12-in, x 9-in.
  12. rectangle.
  13. Cut each into three 12-in.
  14. x 3-in, strips.
  15. Combine cheese with 2 tablespoons of the remaining whole wheat flour;
  16. sprinkle 1/3 cup down center of each sfrip.
  17. Bring long edges together over cheese and pinch to seal.
  18. Place three strips seam side down on greased baking sheets.
  19. Braid strips together; secure ends.
  20. Cover and let rise unlil doubled, about 45 minutes.
  21. Bake at 375 deg.
  22. for 20-25 minutes or until golden.
  23. immediately remove from baking sheets to wire racks; cool.
