Description

This International dessert features Onions (~1.5 lb, Butter, Balsamic vinegar, Brown sugar. It delivers aromatic, well-seasoned taste, smooth, comforting richness. A wonderful way to end any meal, especially on special occasions. Simple to make with ingredients you likely already have on hand, this is a recipe you will come back to again and again.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Slice the onions into half rings (looks better than cubes) and
  2. cook in butter over medium
  3. heat until they start to caramelize (ie turn brown on the edges).
  4. Then add vinegar and sugar and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. I've made it with honey, but I think the brown sugar produces a better flavor
