  1. Preheat oven to 375&# 194;°F (190ðC) and grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over moderate heat.
  3. Add the milk to the melted butter and warm gently; do not boil.
  4. Stir in the sugar and salt until completely dissolved.
  5. Pour the warm milk mixture into a large bowl containing the starter and mix well.
  6. Add 1 cup of flour and mix until combined.
  7. Add another cup of flour and mix until the dough becomes stiff.
  8. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead in the remaining flour until smooth and elastic.
  9. Divide the dough in half.

  11. Cut each rectangle in half lengthwise.
  12. Cut each strip into squares, then cut each square diagonally to form triangles.

  15. Roll up each triangle starting from the long side.
  16. Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down.
