  1. cut into julianne slices In medium saucepan; combine water, oil, lemon juice, sugar, and salt.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add carrots, and simmer for 3 min.
  4. Gently stir in celeriac.
  5. Make sure all veggies are coated.
  6. Cover, and simmer for 10-12 min.
  7. If a thicker sauce is desired, mix water and potato starch into a paste, and stir into pot.
  8. Continue heating until sauce is thick.
