  2. heat cider, red hots and pectin, stirring often.
  3. bring to a full rolling boil.
  4. Add sugar; return to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly.
  5. boil for 1 min.
  6. remove from the heat; skim off any foam.
  7. Pour hot into hat jars, leaving 1/4 in.
  8. headspace.
  9. Adjust caps.
  10. Process for 10 min.
  11. in a boiling-water bath.
