  1. Place the corned beef brisket into the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Add enough water to barely cover the meat.
  3. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic cloves, and bay leaves to the water.

  5. Remove the cooked corned beef from the pot and set aside to rest.
