Ingredients

Directions

  1. Warm the water to about 110ðF (43ðC) and sprinkle the yeast over it in a large bowl. Let stand for 5âÂÂ10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Stir in the brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, vanilla extract, vegetable oil, and beaten eggs until well combined.
  3. Add half of the bread flour and salt to the wet ingredients. Mix until a sticky dough forms.
  4. Stir in the cooled cooked quinoa, followed by the remaining flour. Mix until the dough is just combined and pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5âÂÂ7 minutes until smooth and slightly elastic.
  6. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  7. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it into a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  8. Cover and let rise again for 30âÂÂ45 minutes, until the dough crests above the rim of the pan.
  9. Preheat oven to 350ðF (175ðC). Bake the loaf for 30âÂÂ35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 190ðF (88ðC).
  10. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
