Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350&# 194;°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the French bread loaf in half lengthwise.
  3. Place the halves cut-side up on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
  4. Tear out the soft inner portion of the bread into large chunks, leaving the crusts intact to form a shell.
  5. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  6. Stir in crushed garlic and sesame seeds, cooking until fragrant but not browned.
  7. Add the torn bread chunks to the skillet and fry, stirring occasionally, until golden and the butter is absorbed.
  8. Remove the skillet from heat and set aside.
  9. In a large bowl, combine sour cream, cubed Monterey Jack cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, dried parsley flakes, and lemon pepper seasoning.
  10. Stir in the drained and chopped artichoke hearts.
  11. Fold the toasted garlic bread mixture into the cheese and artichoke mixture until well combined.
  12. Spoon the filling generously into the hollowed-out bread crust shells.
  13. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese over the top of the filling.
  14. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  15. While baking, drain the pitted ripe olives.
  16. Remove the bread from the oven.
  17. Arrange olives around the edges of the bread and place tomato slices and parsley sprigs down the center for garnish.
  18. Serve warm.
