  1. In a large saucepan, combine the powdered pectin and water.
  2. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil over high heat.
  3. Boil for exactly 1 minute.

  6. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  7. Ladle the hot jam into sterilized freezer jars, leaving 1/2 inch headspace.
