  1. Thaw peas and
  2. pat dry with paper towel (
  3. Spread out on a cookie sheet covered with paper towel after they are thawed and the
  4. cover them with another
  5. layer of paper towel and
  6. pat gently.) Put peas in a bowl and
  7. add peanuts.
  8. Mix sour cream sugar and water together and gently toss it into the peas and peanuts.
  9. Put into a pretty clear trifle dish and garnish with green pepper and pimento.

  11. I tried it for a Christmas brunch and must say it got rave reviews from many--others didn't care for it much.
  12. It is unusual, and I liked it.
