Chop almonds except 6 or 8.

Put the water, butter and sugar into a wide pot, mix well to dissolve sugar.

Bring to boil, then add farina.

Stir the mixture rapidly to prevent its sticking and forming lumps.

Simmer over low heat until it thickens, stirring constantly.

Add chopped almonds and half of the cinnamon; stir well.

Pour into butttered pan, spreading mixture evenly.

Cool, and score into squares or diamonds.

Put a whole almond on each piece.

Bake in 350 F (177&# 194;°C).
