  1. Salt 2 1/2 c Water Heat ghee & saute onions & garlic till golden.
  2. Stir in ginger, turmeric, cayenne & garam masala in turn.
  3. Stir fry for 5 minutes.
  4. Add tomatoes & yogurt.
  5. Stir in salt & cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Pour in water & bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat & simmer for 10 minutes.
  8. The gravy is now ready to use
